Sovika
Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1979 and has been
in the chemicals business for the last 23+ years. The
company has been distributors for GACL products since
1980 and has been performing par excellence over the years.
The annual turnover of these products through Sovika has
been in excess of Rs.40 crores. Infact, more than 80%
of the production of Phosphoric Acid of GACL has been
consumed by Sovika customers. Sovika isalso the exclusive
supplier of GACL products to HLL for the last more than
15 years.
Sovika has been awarded Best Performance Excellence Awards
by Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited numerous times and
the average sales of their products through Sovika has
been in excess of 20000 MT per year.
Recently, Sovika has also been appointed as Authorised
Distributors for products manufactured by Nirma Limited
and the company has been very successful in launching
the same in the Western Region
When the company was associated with TPL, the average
annual sale of their products through Sovika on an All
India basis was more than 30000 MT translating to a turnover
of in excess of Rs.120 crores.
The company has its own fleet of 12 tankers and associates
with more than 50+ tankers, hence transportation is very
well managed. Besides having a presence in most of the
western region of India, it can virtually service all
its customers with ease & confidence. This is evident
from the fact that it has been servicing most of its customers
for past many years.
The company has vast experience in the overseas markets
as well which is evident from the fact that it was instrumental
in importing more 12000 MT of Caustic Soda Lye from Saudi
Arabia and had also arranged for storage & transportation
of the same.
The group companies are into Pharmaceutical, Software
Exports & Travel. The company enjoys good working capital
limits with its bankers and is in a position to obtain
additional facilities as and when required. |
